Thought: Geeks
Most geeks were privileged enough to have access to things like Nintendo, comic books, and computers with Internet. Basically the middle class.
I feel like people hate on geeks because they weren’t lucky enough as children to experience what us geeks got to. So they just don’t understand. Maybe they didn’t have the financial means.
We could try to understand this, but nah. That’s life. Being born into a privileged family is not something to apologize for. It’s not our doing, nor is it our problem. If you don’t get geek culture, you don’t get it. Geeks will always rule the earth.
The people who don’t get it are usually the same people who you just knew wouldn’t amount to anything after high school (later confirmed on their Facebook profiles).
